Since I was a little girl, I dreamt of my perfect day. And now, I get to capture everyone’s special day. Let me just say I love this job, I love to travel, and I love to create beautiful memories!!
Born and raised in Sterling, Illinois. I am one of the most laid back empathetic humans you will ever meet. I have a very strong love for my family and animals. I have a dog who I love dearly her name is “Nala.” I am not going to get into all the fluff of why I started this amazing career. What does matter is what keeps me going and that is love, emotion, and making people smile. With over 7 years of professional photography experience, I fell in love with photographing weddings. Weddings are my absolute favorite event to capture, they are where my heart is at. They give me the freedom to be myself and to be creative. Although weddings are my favorite I still do love photographing families, engagements, and maternity.
Here is how it goes for a regular session. We meet up and we get to know each other. I then turn on some tunes. I have you do things you normally wouldn’t do. I make those natural smiles appear. I make you dance, kiss, hug, and whisper in each others ear. Heck I may even have you jump on his or her back for a piggyback ride. I photograph you like you have never been photographed before. Natural moves and light are very important. I want you to remember the way you loved him or her. The way you looked at one another. I want you to remember the song you sang that day. The food you ate. The way you kissed each other. So lets be honest this is not about me, its all about you and giving you memories that you will remember 20, 40, or 50 years from now. So let’s make moments and let’s make beautiful memories.
